So. I REALLY want to learn how to swim. And despite offers from many acquaintances/friends..nothing has come to fruition. So...if there's anyone out there who is a swimmer (male or female) and has experience teaching someone how to swim (I need to start from the basics)... I would be ecstatic. I have a small fear of deep water, but I don't have any other water phobias. So if you're patient, and a skilled instructor, maybe we can arrange something. Getting into the creative world in Korea as a foreigner is not so easy -- finding like-minded people to work and collaborate with. Coming from a tight-knit arts community in New York City, I feel a little starved always working alone, or trying to work out projects with people on other continents. I wonder if there are people out there who feel the same -- Koreans and foreigners who want to work together on something, create and try to put our little humble work out into the world together.

Language exchange is fine, cultural exchange is nice. But I think we can do more than that, with and for each other. Form real bonds from working together, and begin to understand each other's languages and cultures through a bigger purpose. I've searched and searched for something like this that already exists. I can't find it. In the beginning, it always takes at least one person to speak up.

So, since we've got the nice Chinese New Year holiday coming up, I thought I would find the place and take a look at their work.
