I'm launching a regular podcast, Korean Homesick Blues, showcasing interesting original alternative music being made in Asia, and particularly Seoul and the rest of Korea. I don't care if you're a Korean-only band or a bunch of expats - I just want devastating music! Please send me links where I can, with your permission, download your music for inclusion. Alternatively, you can mail me your CD (I'll give you my address in Korea if you get in touch). I'll also need some info about you, so have that brief bio, and some details about the songs, ready to send. As a former media figure in the USA and the UK, I can guarantee the podcast will be heard by some industry figures in those regions and beyond. But don't raise your hopes of a record deal - that will only stop you making great music! Get in touch.

We want to start gigging in the Hongdae area by early October.
Influences are all over the map, but the main focus is on raunchy bluesrock alternating with postpunk intermingled with progrock sensibilities.
We've got a lot of energy and momentum. Power and simplicity are key. Please get in touch if you'd like to jam.

A Call To Improvisors (Korea)

This band for the most part dabbles in free improvisations...and no I don't necessarily mean "jams".

I have material (literally hundreds of riffs) that could stand to be developed in the near future. If you do not shy away from dissonance, the random, odd time signatures, circulating and communicating/listening, things sounding "wrong" and/or completely throwing away what you conceptualize as "music that people like" you might want to get involved/we'd love to have you join in! Given the nature of this music, its audience might not be suitable to bars, clubs, or even open mics so be forewarned this could conceivably be a rehearsal room only project, unless you enjoy being pummeled with local produce/heckled to the nth/not given notice/kicked off stage. There is however one place I can think of that we COULD stand to reason in!

I play a touch guitar and drums with around a decade of playing experience; previously playing electric bass and acoustic guitar exclusively. The transition I'm within will be in development for years and years to come! I have worked within Guitar Craft and my influences are as follows:

Rock:
APC, AIC, Anathallo, At War With Self, Bjork, Blackfield, Bubblemath, Cabezas de Cera, CGT, Canvas Solaris, Cheer-Accident, Chroma Key, Clutch, Coheed, Collective Soul, Counting Crows, DMB, Bowie, Sylvian, Deus Ex Machina, DEVO, Dillinger Escape Plan, Djam Karet, Dream Theater (pre Octa), dredg, Duran Duran, EW&F, echolyn, Elbow, Enchant, Apple, Flaming Lips, Flower Kings, Heap/Frou Frou, Incubus, Indukti, Joe Jackson, Mitchell, K Bush, Kayo Dot, King Crimson (all line-ups plus ProjeKcts plus all soloists therein), Lazuli, Marillion, The Mars Volta/Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, NiN, Oceansize, OLP, Parliament, Gabriel, Placebo, Porcupine Tree, Present, PFM, Prince, REM, Radiohead, RHCP, Residents, Riverside, Rush, SGM, Steely Dan (and all soloists therein), Sting, The Tangent, Thinking Plague, 3eb, Waits, Tool, Tower Of Power, Type O Negative, U Totem, VdGG, Ween

Jazz:
Ayler, Holdsworth, Aranis, Blakey, Art Ensemble, The Bad Plus, Fleck, Big Satan, Dixon, Frisell, Mehldau, Adderley, Beefheart, Taylor, Gayle, Mingus, Corea, Claudia Quintet, Vu, Curlew, D Douglas, Holland, Liebman, Gordan, McCaslin, Ellington, Friedlander, Flat Earth Society, Frith, Henry Cow/Cutler, Hancock/Headhunters, Black, Lovano, Pass, Coltrane, Hollenbeck, Patitucci, Scofield, Zorn, Koenjihyakkei, Konitz, Magma, Mahavishnu Orchestra, MMW, Davis, Miriodor, Oregon, Passport, Chambers, Metheny, R Brown, Carter, Shining, Clark, Rollins, Spyro Gyra, Monk, Berne, Univers Zero, Montgomery, Weather Report (and soloists therein), X-Legged Sally

Electronica:
Aphex Twin, Laswell, Jaga Jazzist, Massive Attack, M83,No-Man, Portishead, Postal Service, Squarepusher
Others in the group come from musically trained backgrounds (classical mostly) and their influences are more avant-garde composers, folk, independent, and chamber music. Thanks.

Looking to put together an original rock/punk/funk/reggae band to play gigs all over the peninsula from Busan to Seoul. Bands of influence can range anywhere from RHCP, the Foo Fighters, Sublime, Nada Surf, Bob Marley, etc. Especially need a bass player and a drummer, and possibly a lead guitarist who can practice at least once a week. I'm in Cheonan but have a vehicle so practices don't always have to be in my back yard. I play guitar and sing but I am easy to work with so if you have a creative and open mind and wanna bring something to the table then lets get started. I've got a few originals to get us going and would be open to putting a cover or 2 into the set. If you're ready to rock and watch people groove to our sound, then the time is now. email me.

Seoul musicians in need of a studio producer? (Seoul - Global)

Greetings. Geoff of Black Swan Audio shoutin' at ya. I am looking for local artists and bands that are looking to have their music recorded mixed and mastered by someone who cares about giving you the best they can to your music.

I've been producing music, both solo and for other artists, for over ten years. I consider it a challenge to take good sounding tracks and make them sound great.

I understand how difficult it can be to find a good recording/mixing studio with producers and engineers that are willing to pay attention to you and give you the sound that you want.

I've worked with many people here in Seoul to record/mix/master their music and it is my dream to keep doing just that. Any genre of music is welcome.

Enough about me...if you have a question for me, would like to know my (very affordable) rates, want a sample of my work..
please please feel free to contact me.

here's my webpage www.blackswanaudio.com ( mix and mastering samples are provided here )
and you can find me on facebook using search via "geoff nostrant" or "black swan audio"

i look forward to helping you make a killer sound!

peace

geoff
----

below are kudos from artists in Seoul that i have had the pleasure of working with~

Not only am I a huge fan of Geoff's music. I'm amazed by his expertise in all phases of music, and music production. Geoff works very hard on everything he puts his hands to. He strives for quality and doesn't stop until it is archived. Geoff is a first class person, and a pleasure to work with. I'm proud to give him my highest recommendation.
Bill Wren (Multi award-winning song writer)
http://www.billwrenmusic.com/

The first project I gave Geoff was one of my friend's tracks for him to mix and master, because my studio is only set up for recording. What I gave him was raw, and less than a week later, he sent it back to me as a beautiful, professional grade recording. It sounds amazing! His skills in mixing and mastering are top of the line, and when you talk to him you can tell he has a real passion for what he does. I wouldn't rather have any body else mastering my songs from now on. Even though I'm in the U.S. and he's in South Korea, it's always a great collaboration.
Dante Cullari (Beat Play/Music Without Labels CEO, Music Producer)
http://www.beatplay.com/

Writing the music and recording audio are only half the battle. While I can get get my ideas down, Geoff has been instrumental in pushing those songs to their fullest potential. The difference in a "before and after" comparison is jaw dropping. Geoff is intuitive, knowledgeable and clever. I know I have the utmost trust and respect in his work. My music will always be sent to Black Swan Audio.
Nic Ellis (Citizen Lusca)
http://www.purevolume.com/CitizenLusca/

Geoff Nostrant is the music production guru. It is a pleasure to work with him because he is not satisfied until he has achieved the sound which the artist wants to hear. At Black Swan Audio, all of one's recording, mixing, and mastering needs will be met."--Mark Williams (Princess Disease)

Thank you for mixing and mastering the album for Joe Hegel and The Morning Calm.Your enthusiasm for what you do is much appreciated, as is your interest in our music, and your desire to help make it as good as it can be.
Thanks for the time, care, and the quality of the work that you did in mixing and mastering our album.
Joe Hegel
"So, Geoff is more than likely the nicest, most humble person I've worked with in audio so far. The field's really competitive and a lot of people think that means that it needs to turn into some sort of alpha male ego thing; my experience with Black Swan Audio wasn't like that at all. Geoff listens to people, figures out what they want to do, and does it. He provides ways to improve the mix the way the artist wants, whereas others feel like they need to improve the mix the way that they want." - Thom Butler (illwiththeconsumption)

Blues/Rock/Country Singer/Harmonica Player Seeking Gigging Band (Seoul)

Greetings,
To make a long story short, I'm from the United States, and I'm having serious gigging withdrawals. I'm looking for like-minded musicians wanting to play in and around Seoul. My first love is rooted in the blues and rock region, but I'll venture into some country (real country that focuses on whiskey, fighting, losing your woman, etc.)(No new country).

EXPERIENCE: I've been in a paid gigging band for the past 11 years. I've played in every type of joint from a professional stage complete with top of the line lighting and sound all the way down to a hole-in-the-wall bar filled with crusty old veterans. To be honest, it really doesn't matter where I play. I have enough money to put toward equipment if need be, and the work ethic to put out a solid product.

MUSICAL INFLUENCES AND BANDS COVERED: Popa Chubby, North Mississippi Allstars, Hill Country Revue, The Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clutch, Corey Stevens & Texas Flood, Cracker, Steve Earle, Drive-By Truckers, Gov't Mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Taj Mahal, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, Jerry Reed............ And the list could go on forever. Hopefully this gives you enough of an idea of what styles I enjoy playing.

Well, there it is folks. I'm itching to play as soon as possible, but I would even settle for a discussion of music over a beer. Hopefully there are some like-minded players somewhere in the Seoul area looking to do a little playing as well.

Thanks.

Greetings. I’m Geoff Nostrant. I love music. I am obsessed with turning a good mix into a killer mix. I currently reside in Seoul, South Korea. I have been composing, recording, performing, mixing and mastering music for over ten years. I became fascinated with recording when I bought my first 8-track analog tape recorder. It became a hobby and grew into a passion and now I’m obsessed. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in music. Shortly after, I started recording music for the ethereal/ambient/space rock project, ‘Silvercord’. I am currently based in Seoul, South Korea. I continue produce, mix and master my own music as well as co-write with some very talented artists all over the world. I take great pleasure in mixing fellow artists’ music to the greater form they wish it to be and it is my dream to continue to do so.

Black Swan Audio is a production service specializing in mixing and mastering for the professional independent artist who wishes their music to be taken to a higher level of refinement. Be it one song that needs to have the mastering touch, or an entire album that needs the royal treatment from start to finish including audio restoration, vocal intonation touch ups, beat mapping, arrangements, mixing and finally mastering. Black Swan has got you covered.

Song writing is also a passion of mine. Black Swan Audio offers song writing assistance/co-production from start to finish. Our palate is wide, and we are confident we offer the right tools to songwriters and help you make the right choices in crafting your creations.

Mixing services:
A good mix is key for giving your song that polished, professional sound. As, I have a healthy obsession with getting deep into a mix and doing every bit I can as to eliminate any factors preventing your song to being nothing less than impressive.

Black Swan is here to make your mix shine for the pro and indie artist alike.

*I want to listen to YOU, not just your music.
I want to stress that I have no assumption about what flavor you want your song’s final mix to be. You know your art better than anyone else.
I want it to be good and in order for it to be good, your direction is vital.
I wish to correspond with you about what things you feel the song needs. Be it a favorite artist/album/track you wish to emulate or simple a mood you wish to convey. If you decide to put your faith in my hands and leave it up to I’m also down for the challenge.
Regardless, I want to start off on the right foot, so let’s get the ball rolling by allowing me to get to know you. Please feel free to email me at the address provided

Here are some common things I do when I ‘mix’ your songs:
As I pride myself on my obsession with doing all I can to make your song stand out among the crowd of others, I am sure you won’t mind me getting deep into the mix and editing every possible factor that needs attention. Consider this the royal treatment for your tunes. Here are the main things that I do even before the pan/volume levels of your song are adjusted:

Clean up/restoration: Due to a number of reasons, recorded audio often has unwanted noise attached to it. Be it a hum, hiss, or background noise, I am all about getting it out of your tracks without sacrificing the tone. You may be surprised at what ‘nasties’ I can eliminate!

Timing/Alignment: Getting a perfect vocal/instrument take isn’t always easy. Multiply that with multiple instruments and the possibility for parts of the song to be out of sync can grow exponentially. A song that has just even one error in timing by vocals or an instrument can make a big statement about the creator’s integrity. If you have recorded your song with a specific bpm, then fixing what seems to be a rhythm train wreck can be done with a bit of patience and diligence. Even a song with minor timing issues can be tweaked and turned into an even more hard-hitting.

EQ: Having a full EQ spectrum is essential for the mixdown/master of your song, but the same does not go for each and every instrument within the mix. This is where subtractive EQ comes into play. Taking away unwanted frequencies from each instrument can help give more room in the overall mix. And that means more balance, punch, warmth and clarity.

Pitch Correction: The industry has gotten very finicky with vocal intonation. Just one sour spot in a vocal line and the negative impress stays throughout the song. Auto tuning can seem cliché and a past fad due to gross manipulations of the effect, i.e. Cher and T-pain, but precise editing can help your vocals sound naturally spot-on without that mechanical aftertaste. This takes time.
A good engineer should use the flyswatter method by editing each note that needs attention rather than the shotgun method of setting and ‘forgetting’.

Drum replacement: If you feel that a specific drum in your kit lacks punch, doesn’t match well with other drums, there are ways to remedy the situation into giving you the correct feel you need for the song. It is not uncommon for me to replace recorded bass drum/snare parts with samples that restore an authentic feel to a drum part that once sounded miserable.

Effects!: A wise musician/songwriter should record their instrument and/or voice without added effects. Once you record a track with an effect you are stuck with that effect. For example, You lay down a great vocal track with the perfect delay effect to go along with the rhythm of the song. That effect may indeed be just what the doctor ordered, but what if you found out that just a few notes you sang were a bit sour? Just ‘punch in’ and record over the bad note right? Maybe, but the delay of the new punch in may clash with the delay that has already been recorded. Ah, no, problem then! Pitch correction to save the day, right? Bad news.
Pitch correcting vocals that have effects on them work less accurately than a ‘dry’ (non-effected) track. Also, recording musical instruments dry can allow for limitless tone and effects choices after the fact of recording. “Non-destructive” is the name of the game.

Rates:
Fees for mixing and mastering are per song and not by time. Mixing takes time, often allot of time, but that doesn’t mean you should go broke just because I might obsess the night away on making your mix killer;) Mastering is included with any song that I mix for you. However, if you feel you have a good mix, I would be more than happy master your track without mixing. You will find that im darn cheap compared to other studios in the area, but the mixing will in no way sound cheap.

Looking forward to being in contact!

Just had a crazy idea to try to form a cover band while I'm here for the next year. Nothing incredibly serious, just something fun to do to get out of the dorm room once in a while. Open to a variety of bands to cover, but I mainly want to do Disturbed songs. I can't play any instruments, but I've been told I'm a decent singer, so I guess that's what I'd do. Hit me up and maybe we can get something started!

Open Mic Night @ Olde Stompers every Tuesday night ... The best stage in Itaewon and the best musicians in town showing up regularly make it a rocking good time. There is a full backline and sound man on staff. If you've never been to Stompers you should stop in and check out the friendly scene. The music starts about 9:30 or so... It's very casual and everyone is welcome.

Even if you're not a musician come on in and watch as bands form on the spot for spontaneous jams and solo artists bring their best...

Directions... Itaewon subway exit #3, walk straight for about 500 meters (pass the gas station and keep going a little further). Go up the giant cement stairs on your right next to Rocky Mountain Tavern on the east end of Itaewon's main street. Turn right at the top of the stairs and Stompers is just about 50 meters on your right.

Every night the famous Stompers Teq/Mek special is the way to go... A shot of tequila and a draft beer for 5000 won ... Walk in and crawl out !

Hi, my name is Lira.
I'm looking for a band which wanted a female singer.
I like various kinds of music. From popular music through classical music I would like listen to.
However, I prefer to sing pop songs such as d'sound, KT Tunstall, Dido, Incognito, Avril Lavigne, Des'ree, Duffy, Marie Digby, Sixpence none the richer, Sarah Mclachlan, etc..... but if I need to train with new and different songs, I'm ready to experience that. I really don't mind what kind of genres you play except K-pop.
My voice tone is not high nor light. I used to sing and play guitar in a school band. Songs were "Zombie", "Smells like teen spirit", "Breath", "Come together(Beatles)", "Venus", ........... and I covered "Angel(Sarah Mclachlan)" several years ago by myself.
I would like to sing in a band playing English songs because I don't really enjoy K-pop. As a hobby or a part-time live at a club or a bar, any purpose is OK to me.
Please contact me if you are interested in this.

Rock Vocalist Searching for Band (Hongdae Area)

What's up Seoul? I just arrived in Korea about two weeks ago, and I am looking to jump into something awesome and promising as soon as possible.

I am an extensively trained vocalist, musician, and professional actor with the voice, looks, energy, stage presence and personality necessary to make it in this amazing but tough line of work. I have years of performance experience in rock & roll, blues, a cappella, and musical theatre.

Boston-born and bred, tall white male with blue eyes and athletic build, 25 years old (in Korea), I'll be living here in Seoul for the next year as a Fulbright scholar (courtesy of the U.S. State Dept.) doing independent research on comparative world drama and performance. One of the best aspects of this year is that I can basically set my own schedule.

Looking to primarily be on lead vocals, but I also play piano, harmonica, and drums well. I can read, arrange, and compose music. Baritenor featuring very high falsetto. Relative perfect pitch. Memorization is one of my strong suits. Originals, jams, and covers welcome.

Vocal and/or musical influences include Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Grateful Dead, Beatles, The Who, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, The Black Crows, Muse, Deftones, Weezer, and countless others.

I'm looking for a band with the skills, experience, creativity, originality, ambition, and drive necessary to succeed, develop a following, and take it to the next level. Fun is a must, but also is knowing when to buckle down and get to work.

Want to know more/specifics? Just jam and see if it's a good fit? Shoot me an email right now.

Best wishes for all artists out there doing their thing and living the dream.

I'm a professional jazz musician based out of Philadelphia in the USA and I'll be visiting Seoul in September for 2 1/2 weeks. I'm just putting this post out there to see if there are any opportunities to play while I'm in town. Last year I came and stopped in at a jam session at Club Evans but that was all the exposure to the jazz scene I got. It would be great to meet some of the local jazz players in Seoul or any other foreign musicians staying in Korea. Picking up a gig would be a plus definitely. I'll be in town from the 11th to the 28th and visiting/staying with my in-laws so my schedule is wide open. Any players who see this and are just curious about me, send me an email, I'd be happy to talk some more and share info/websites etc. Looking forward to coming back to Korea again!

Sing and Play in Handel's "Messiah" (Seoul)

Hey Everyone!

I hope you are well!

It is getting to be that time when we start our "Messiah" Rehearsals! This year will be a very special year for "Messiah", as we are bringing in one of the most famous choral conductors in the world to conduct the choir for the performance, "Weston Noble". He will be coming in the beginning of December, and working with the choir for almost 3 weeks!

I would love to have all of you in the choir! My goal is to have a choir of at least 80-100 people! If you are interested in singing Handel's "Messiah" this year, please send me an email or call me! It is going to be great!

Rehearsals begin on September 19, at 4:00 PM. All new people will be called at 3:00 PM for a brief audition/vocalization. Also, if you haven't sung in the choir for over a half year, I would like to hear you again, so please also come at this time!

The concert is on December 18, 2010, at Chung-dong 1st Methodist Church, City Hall Station, Seoul. Complete with orchestra and professional soloists! For those that weren't in the choir, or in attendance last year, we had over 1,000 people in attendance, including the ambassadors from the USA and Denmark!

It will be a great time! I hope you can all join!

Best wishes,

Ryan

English speaking Pro Mixing and Mastering Producer (Seoul, baby!)

Looking forward to being in contact!

peace

Master's of Music Degree in Vocal Arts Pedagogy and Opera Performance (with a concentration on vocal pedagogy/voice science) from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance and Education from Luther College, and am the founder of the Camarata Music Company in Seoul (http://www.camaratamusic.com). Along with formal study in vocal pedagogy, I have also formally studied the physics of sound and acoustics. A classically trained musician, I have studied with Nina Hinson (Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Santa Fe Opera, German Staatsoper), Shigemi Matsumoto (San Francisco Opera, Metropolitan Opera), Gary Glaze (New York City Opera), and renowned vocal coach/composer, Alan Smith. I have performed all over the US, in Europe, and Korea, in opera, oratorio, musical theater, film/television, and voice acting.

I teach healthy, natural, unobstructed vocal technique. My prime concern in students is to correct vocal faults, and teach how to sing in a healthy, free, natural way that allows the student to also teach themselves, by teaching them to hear and "feel" the voice objectively. Although I am personally classically trained, I have success with all genres of music, with many of my students in the rock, musical, and K-pop realm, alongside classical singers.

Join the Camarata Music Company, conducted by Ryan Goessl, for an evening of love made manifest in music.

The company will bring its collective singing talent, accompanied by Brendan Hollins and Andreas Ehret at the piano, to bear on Brahms' Liebeslieder Walzer, a collection of short chamber pieces reflecting on every facet of that most complex emotion.

The music is full of beautifully embracing harmonies that soar and fall in a paean to the sometimes-challenging road to love. Encompassing hope, despair, longing, and joy, this intimate series of pieces handily reminds us of our greatest gift to one another.

If music be the food of love, indeed.

Rounding out the concert will be the Rachmaninoff Suite no. 2 for Two Pianos performed by Brendan Hollins and Andreas Ehret. The Suite maintains the sweet tone of the evening in the Romance, but offers a refreshing complementary spice in the Waltz and Tarantella, reminding us that love i s not without excitement.

Come hear love in all its complication, ardor, romance, and quiet splendor, given voice by some of the finest musicians in Seoul!

Sept. 4, 7:30 PM at Chungdong First Methodist Church, City Hall Station

Tickets are 10,000 won in advance, 15,000 won at the door. A portion of the proceeds go to support our music program in less-fortunate areas and orphanages.

Hi there,
My name's Ian and I moved to Gimpo City a month ago to teach in Korea. I'm a singer who's very eager to work with others on nearly any type of music. My influences are wide and include the Black Keys, Ben Folds, Muse, Mumford and Sons in the folksy region but I am also a metal singer who enjoys bands like Brother Von Doom, Fear Factory, and Heaven Shall Burn. I have a flexible range and project well. Please, no pop country or hip hop (I don't rap but I do love OLD country like Hank Williams). If you're interested email me with the words "where the pampers is" in the subject header so I know you're not spammin me. Hope to hear from you soon, later.

I’m a vocalist with stage experience and a huge reserve of music knowledge (I run a music web site managing a dozen columnists of all genres) looking to form a band here in Korea. I will be here for several years. I’ve also spoken with several club owners in Changown and Masan who would be glad to have a band at their place. Musically, I’m also a bassist and have programming and sound design experience. I have filming experience and design, too, to help promote the band.

Music style, punk rock (ala Sex Pistols, Ramones, Clash, Dead Kennedys), rock n’ roll, new wave, etc. David Bowie, Gwar, Mike Patton, Pigface, etc.- I’d like to throw in a fair amount of styles to come up with some fun and original. Planning 70% originals, 30% unique covers. I’d like to make a true band, where everyone pitches in with the writing.

Especially looking for a guitarist, keyboardist, and drummer. But if you’re into music, let’s talk…

How are you! Greetings from Austin, the live music capital of the world..!
I am a singer/songwriter, moving to korea from austin at the end of this month. Although I am young I have live performing experiences, right attitude and enthusiasm -and most of all, the soul.
My background is growing up on gospel, then moving to rock n' roll and blues, and had my share of fun while staying in austin.
My singing influences are Janis Joplin, Mick Jagger, Duffy, Robert Plant, and delta blues, texas blues, Sam Cooke, etc.
Main objective of returning to korea is to pursue music while being able to support myself - and I want to meet very VERY serious musicians who have touring the world as a vision.
I am looking to write and play mostly original songs, and I really need to meet musicians who can dedicate time - and only if they believe in the music we make!
Somebody told me it's hard to find such musicians in korea. I say, forget about it! I'm sure I'll meet a group of musicians who take it as more than their mission in this world to spread meaningful music.
So do email me if and only if you are a serious musician looking for a serious (and fun) singer! :)
I have a Master's of Music Degree in Vocal Arts Pedagogy and Opera Performance (with a concentration on vocal pedagogy/voice science) from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance and Education from Luther College, and am the founder of the Camarata Music Company in Seoul (http://www.camaratamusic.com). I have performed all over the US, in Europe, and Korea, in opera, oratorio, musical theater, film/television, and voice acting..

I teach healthy, natural, unobstructed vocal technique. My prime concern in students is to correct vocal faults, and teach how to sing in a healthy, free, natural way that allows the student to also teach themselves, by teaching them to hear and "feel" the voice objectively. Although I am personally classically trained, I have success with all genres of music, as the basis of vocal production is the same, no matter what type of music you sing.
