Hello,

I am looking to exchange English or Spanish for Korean. I have been in Korea for almost 2 years and it is very hard to study alone. I am 28 years old simple American girl who loves culture and interesting things. If you want to be proud you can teach someone Korean, contact me! If you just want to laugh at my Korean because it's cute or wrong, I'm not interested in meeting you. I'm sorry to be so honest, but this is my style. It's better to be forward in the beginning and make clear expectations. I can share many things about culture and so forth, but I'm very serious about improving my Korean. I will try any strategy to get better at speaking, my listening, reading, and writing is so so. I watch Korean dramas to learn, but sometimes speaking is too fast so impossible to learn.

We have experience in the ESL market and are interested in marketing Audio Drops to older students of English as a way for them to have entertainment with sound effects and music and immersion and then they can understand the context of the words and learn English with some fun.
So we are looking for a teacher who "gets" this idea and would be interested in finding ways to implement it in the classroom. Our founder is a former ESL teacher in Korea, so we know that trying new things can be frowned upon in the classroom there, but we think there is a future here.

미국에 온지는 5년이 넘었습니다.

처음에 올때는 미국으로 취업이 되어서 오게 되었고, 지금은 여기서 석사를

그래서 어학연수에 많이 도움이 될거라 생각하고, 뉴욕이나 LA보다 물가도 저렴하기때문에

다른지역에서 하는것보다 더 좋은 여건과 경제여건속에서 적은 부담으로

공부를 할수 있다고 생각합니다.

저는 여기서 홈스테이를 하고 있습니다.(개인방, 식사, 교통수단 제공)

기본적으로 일반 어학연수기관을 통해서 학교입학서류를 준비하고 비자를 신청하는데까지는

한국보다 저렴하게 준비할수 있습니다. 왜냐하면 제가 바로 학교에 가서 서류를 받고 서류를 우편으로

보내드리기때문입니다.

kimchi made with roots (Maine, US)

I live in the US. My friend used to be married to a native Korean. Her family would send them homemade kimchi made with some kind of roots, several inches long, I think the leafy part of the plants was still attached, but I can't remember. The roots were less than 1/2 inch wide. Wow that was good stuff. My friends divorced, and the connection dried up. I'd love to figure a way to make some of that kimchi here if I could find a suitable replacement plant. Does anyone know about this? The family lived in Seoul.

I am a Chinese and I speak standard Mandarin.I Graduated from Graduate School of International Studies in Sogang University.
I have more than 3 years teaching experience.I can teach different levels,and I know which part is difficult to learn and by what way you can improve it more.I charge 3만원 each hour for 1:1 class.

I usually teach once a week and 1.5 hours for one class, so a month will only cost 1.5*4*3=18만원. If you wanna have classes twice a week then I can charge a little bit less like 2.5만원, then it will cost 1.5 * 8 *2.5 = 30만원 for a month.

For the beginners, I will focus on the pronunciation.so it will be 30min pronunciation, 30min grammar-based conversation and 30min writing;For the medium level learner,I will focus on speaking practice.It will be 30min grammar and 1 hour conversational talk.

If you wanna some intensive courses such as business chinese, then I can add that part into my teaching curriculum.
