KGB LOGISTICS, the industry's fourth biggest logistics firm in terms of market share, uses undocumented employees in its sorting centers, mainly because they are cheaper, can be easily intimidated, can be fired or hired at will depending on needs.
Here at Del.E.Gate, we once again risked our necks and walked right into a site, in this instance a KGB sorting center.
In order to be allowed to work, we didn't have to show ID or fill forms, we were only asked to write our name on a piece of paper for pay purposes - they pay in cash at the end of the grueling 12 hour shift.
KGB Logis breaks every conceivable labor law in the book.
Add this to the 12 hour workday with no breaks allowed and you have the very definition of "Hell Korea".
We followed a group of 4 individuals who refused to do overtime on top of the 12 hours they had already worked, as they were "suggested".
After their shift, it took two hours of negotiation with management to receive their pay.
Everything is so, so wrong on this work site.
Hoping that their operating license will be revoked and that they will be handed a toe-curling fine, we are reporting KGB LOGIS CO. LTD.
The 22nd of September 2016
KGB LOGIS CO. LTD has failed to pay their foreign workers for three days in a row. Read that again... 3 days in a row. Hoping they will lose patience and just give up on their money, which is bound to happen eventually.
Their foreign workers have no recourse, they cannot go to the police or complain to the labor office, for obvious reasons.
Two days ago a fight broke off between Mongolian workers and Korean staff - Mongolians usually are not the type of people who will just sit down and complain while letting people take advantage of them. After an actual fistfight, police arrived, we heard from a source that there would be some kind of investigation. That is all we know for the time being.
So now you know why we immediately BLACKLISTED KGB LOGIS CO. LTD.
