I just browse through your e-book and I find it very informative.
Yes, my husband and I are thinking of going to Korea for a year or 2 and he is currently looking for a teaching post.
I saw on advertisement that some schools provide housing allowance of 400,000 to 600,000 won if teachers look for their own accommodation.
That doesn’t sound like a lot and that probably is a single person rate.
We may have to top up monthly rental if we want to find somewhere big enough for 2 people.
You are right, rental procedures differs a lot, I am a bit nervous with regards to “Key Money”;
we won’t be able to pay a huge lump sum and would prefer to pay a reasonable monthly rental.
And we are not sure if my husband’s future employer will help pay the ‘key money’.
Nevertheless, it’s a great document and if we get a responds from the schools, we will get in touch with you again. :D

There is no scam. I am a businessman who hopes to see a return on my investment for a certain risk. Most Koreans regard foreigners as too much of a (flight) risk, given their track record in this country. So I'm looking to fill the gap - but let's be honest here, I'm not a philanthropist, and this isn't a charity- just a business, so at the bare minimum we will:
a. meet in person- to assess how well you might adapt here.
b. check references back home- or better, in Korea
c. check out your workplace and contract, and assess the risk factor from that
d. require a contract, minimum one year but will consider six months in special cases.
What's the catch? Well, after evaluating your particular case, I'll naturally incline to the lower risk factors, though with higher risk factor people I would simply increase the interest. Basically my capital will allow you to have a larger selection of apartments, nicer apartments than you would with your own money. You will pay an extra amount to service my loan, which will be a fixed amount between 50,000 and 200,000 per month. This is exactly what Koreans do with each-other but no one seems willing to risk this with Foreigners.
Q. How do I know if I will qualify as low-risk enough to get the loan?
A. Well, most people with a reasonable resume, decent personality, at least one rock solid reference, and WHO ALREADY HAS AN APARTMENT IN MIND will qualify. But it's better if you qualify first when you go apartment hunting, because nice places don't stay on the market very long.
So for the initial phase of this project, we are looking to loan the following amounts:
5, 10, 15 and 20 million won. If you have a bigger, more lovely place that you just can't live without and you are financially solvent, we may still be able to help with larger amounts. We can also arrange furniture rental, and by furniture we mean quality stuff not made of MDF (medium density Fibreboard, the bane of Korean furniture stores)

I just browse through your e-book and I find it very informative.
Yes, my husband and I are thinking of going to Korea for a year or 2 and he is currently looking for a teaching post.
I saw on advertisement that some schools provide housing allowance of 400,000 to 600,000 won if teachers look for their own accommodation.
That doesn’t sound like a lot and that probably is a single person rate.
We may have to top up monthly rental if we want to find somewhere big enough for 2 people.
You are right, rental procedures differs a lot, I am a bit nervous with regards to “Key Money”;
we won’t be able to pay a huge lump sum and would prefer to pay a reasonable monthly rental.
And we are not sure if my husband’s future employer will help pay the ‘key money’.
Nevertheless, it’s a great document and if we get a responds from the schools, we will get in touch with you again. :D

I just browse through your e-book and I find it very informative.
Yes, my husband and I are thinking of going to Korea for a year or 2 and he is currently looking for a teaching post.
I saw on advertisement that some schools provide housing allowance of 400,000 to 600,000 won if teachers look for their own accommodation.
That doesn’t sound like a lot and that probably is a single person rate.
We may have to top up monthly rental if we want to find somewhere big enough for 2 people.
You are right, rental procedures differs a lot, I am a bit nervous with regards to “Key Money”;
we won’t be able to pay a huge lump sum and would prefer to pay a reasonable monthly rental.
And we are not sure if my husband’s future employer will help pay the ‘key money’.
Nevertheless, it’s a great document and if we get a responds from the schools, we will get in touch with you again. :D

It's located a few steps from the famous street Nokdo (Sillim) a lively street with lots of cheap restaurants, cafes and local stores. This area is known for the affordable prices and many students. It's also next to the beautiful and popular Gwanak mountain and Seoul National University.
The apartment is a few minutes walk from busstops. 10 min busride to either Sillim st. or Seoul Nat. university st. where you will find even more restaurants and shopping places and will be connected to the green subway line 2 (that goes to Sindorim, Hongdae, Shinchon, Edae etc.)
Bus 501 will take you directly to places like Sangdo, Yongsan, Samgakti, Seoul st. etc. this bus leaves from the terminal 2 min. away from the apt. and you will always get a seat :)
5 min free shuttle bus between Nokdo and Seoul National University.
The landlords are a very sweet and honest Korean couple, who lives on the 5th floor of the building if you need any help. There will be 7 months left of this contract when you can move in around the 27th or November. Im flexible about the date.

I just browse through your e-book and I find it very informative.
Yes, my husband and I are thinking of going to Korea for a year or 2 and he is currently looking for a teaching post.
I saw on advertisement that some schools provide housing allowance of 400,000 to 600,000 won if teachers look for their own accommodation.
That doesn’t sound like a lot and that probably is a single person rate.
We may have to top up monthly rental if we want to find somewhere big enough for 2 people.
You are right, rental procedures differs a lot, I am a bit nervous with regards to “Key Money”;
we won’t be able to pay a huge lump sum and would prefer to pay a reasonable monthly rental.
And we are not sure if my husband’s future employer will help pay the ‘key money’.
Nevertheless, it’s a great document and if we get a responds from the schools, we will get in touch with you again. :D

But enough about what the place is near - inside you'll find 1 large bedroom, along with a nice-sized bathroom, kitchen full-length glass doors lead out to the washing machine (the laundry room).
So I'm leaving a job at the end of the month, and need to find someone that might like to live. I pay 680,000 won a month with 5,000,000 key money put down.
Say, you mentioned furniture - if you want it, I'll throw in two wooden shelves (one 2ft by 4ft, great for holding snacks, the other 4ft by 4ft square, great for holding books) and a nice-sized TV if you want it.
